DEVALOIS HR.SEC.SCH, KASAM was established in 1965 and it is managed by the Pvt. Aided.
I am proud to say that I had studied at DEVALOIS HR.SEC.SCH, KASAM, Katpadi from 6th Standard and Completed Higher Secondary +2 Science Group in the year 1983.
During the 1980, this school was very famous with huge buildings, Science Lab, Library, etc.
Apart from this, in the campus there were Agricultural Farm, Swimming Pool, Church, Hostels, Mango Groove, Coconut, Gova fruits two grounds one for Foot Ball, Hockey, Badmiton Court, Coco court etc.
In between the ground and school there is train track.
When I visited the school, during 2022, I was very much shocked to see the status of the school. That is all the old buildings were demolished and there is a very small school buildings with limited class rooms.
On that day, I have thought of contacting my old students to contact and to mobilise some fund to help the school administration to improve its infrastructure.
However, students batch of 1996-2003 have taken steps and helped the schoold administration to paint the building and also honoured the past Teachers in Mupperum Vizha.
Thanks to the 1996-2003 batch students for their support.
It is located in Urban area. It is located in KATPADI block of VELLORE district of Tamil Nadu.
The school consists of Grades from 6 to 12. The school is Co-educational and it doesn't have an attached pre-primary section. The school is N/A in nature and is not using school building as a shift-school. Tamil is the medium of instructions in this school. This school is approachable by all weather road. In this school academic session starts in April.
The school has Private building. It has got 6 classrooms for instructional purposes. All the classrooms are in good condition. It has 2 other rooms for non-teaching activities.
The school has a separate room for Head master/Teacher.

The school has have electric connection. The source of Drinking Water in the school is Well and it is functional.
The school has 8 boys toilet and it is functional. and 3 girls toilet and it is functional.
The school has a playground.
The school has a library and has 5200 books in its library. The school does not need ramp for disabled children to access classrooms.
The school has 3 computers for teaching and learning purposes and all are functional. The school is not having a computer aided learning lab. The school is Provided and Prepared in School Premises providing mid-day meal.
